Jessica O’Keefe was born in St. Louis, Missouri, grew up in Southern California and has family across the South.While attending college, Jessica worked at Lightstorm Entertainment in Development on projects such as Avatar, Solaris and Battle Angel Alita. She graduated from UCLA with degrees in Women's Studies and LGBT Studies. She and her husband, Ken O'Keefe, founded their small multi-media company Breatheasy Productions in 2009 to create memorable media adventures that initiate social change. Breatheasy Productions is now home to diverse commodities, including film and video productions, social media marketing and advertising, commissioned artwork and fiction and non-fiction publications. Jessica directed a promotional short film for Jane Love, which has gone on to garner award recognition at regional film festivals. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her family, where she continues to direct and produce while developing feature specs and Jane Love for both the big and small screen.
Ken O’Keefe is a Los Angeles based editor and producer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Ken majored in Film Production at the University of Notre Dame before moving to New York to pursue his career. Now a resident of Los Angles for the past eighteen years, Ken has established himself as a successful editor through his work on such films as Disney’s Lady and the Tramp, Lionsgate’s Long Shot, and Sony Screen Gems’ The Intruder. Married to his beautiful wife Jessica, and a father to his two wonderful children, Ken continues to grow in his career, as well as his creativity as an editor and filmmaker.
